Does that mean your security clearance cleared? What component are you going to work for?

Just for comparison, I also got my offer in November, eQIP submitted in Feb, drug test in May and had my FBI interview a couple weeks ago. Another agent has been contacting people on my eQIP up to this week.

Not sure it means I’m totally cleared, but I’m at the point where I’m fine to begin work. I’m not comfortable disclosing the component, but I just had to file an SF-85P.

The FBI agent who worked on my clearance said that no news is good news. Still have yet to receive my EOD despite reference interviews taking place in mid-July.

I was wondering the same thing and I have not yet heard anything either. I emailed my contact in EOIR asking about my start date and he told me to refer to the letter EOIR sent me a few months ago and that most background checks are still pending.

Lol wut? You don't have a start date yet? Didn't your offer letter have one?

I have a preliminary start date but not a confirmed/official one. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I thought that was what the last several posts were about as well.

Not OP, but my offer letter also didn’t include a start date. I don’t think anyone’s did. It depends on how long the background check takes.

That being said, I’ve known about my official start date for a couple of months now. OP should probably follow up with someone and see what’s up.
