Many firms have an online application - it's fine to use that. I was able to net 3 CBs and 1 offer by applying online last cycle.

I interviewed with 2 partners and 2 associates between the corporate and tax groups
I felt everyone was super approachable and fun
Not sure how important the HH is... but it doesn't hurt to mingle and get to know more people!
