I was able to get 1 more. Big NYC firm.

Welp we're in almost the exact same boat. Over 20 interviews, bid list based only on first-failed bid. Three recent pre-OCI interviews.Anonymous User wrote:I got over 20. I optimized my bid list based on first-failed (bidding all firms at or below the first failed). I also got a few waitlists and opt-ins. I am not that picky as to firm "prestige" so was only dead-set on maybe ten or so bids. The rest were places that looked good based on research in a specific city I like.
Also, I had a couple pre-OCI interviews - no offers though (at least not yet). Though my GPA is a bit low probably. Pre-OCI seems slow this summer. City matters too.
What pre-OCI city/firms were you guys, if you don't mind? + approx. class percentage?Anonymous User wrote:Welp we're in almost the exact same boat. First poster here. Don't want to reveal firm names: both in DC. One around V10 ish and other V50ish No idea of my class percentage but definitely low. Maybe between bottom 1/3 and bottom 1/2. Strong resume other than the GPA.Anonymous User wrote:What pre-OCI city/firms were you guys, if you don't mind? + approx. class percentage?Anonymous User wrote:Welp we're in almost the exact same boat. Second poster here. 1 pre-OCI callback in secondary market. 1 pre-OCI screener in same secondary market (currently scheduling callback). Both are top firms in the secondary market, V100. 1 pre-OCI callback in non-NYC major market, strong lit boutique. Still waiting to hear back on both callback. 3.7X GPA.Anonymous User wrote:What pre-OCI city/firms were you guys, if you don't mind? + approx. class percentage?Anonymous User wrote:Welp we're in almost the exact same boat. This morning, I got a callback from a NY firm literally as soon as my interview ended. Top 30%ish with DLJ.Anonymous User wrote:So..any CBs especially from NY?

Alum here. What reason do I have to lie? Just providing info.Anonymous User wrote:And which firms?Anonymous User wrote:So..any CBs especially from NY?
An anon alum claiming that CBs have gone out to a couple median folks seems a bit sketch. I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly sure that people have lied on the internet before.
Now there's a charge.
