I know some offices were hiring 3Ls. I was hired as a 3L in real estate. Had a 2L SA at a firm, but was looking to switch practice areas that my summer firm didn't have.

Very interesting. How much money does a firm have to shell out to get someone who is already reportedly one of the top 10 earners at Latham?
