Where did you graduate from law school, what were your first salaries, what type of lawyer are you. Also just for bonus who is the richest lawyer you know personally?

1) 2015
2) fed clerkship: 62k
3) I know some biglaw partners in NYC who make several million a year - but the richest lawyer I know is a personal injury guy who raked in $50 million on a case recently.

1. Graduated Top 15% at a low T1 (ranked 40-50).

2. Currently a second year at an SV corporate boutique (EC/VC work). Make $150k.

3. Richest lawyer I know personally is a PI lawyer that won a $400M judgment on a contingency case.

Graduated 2013. My salary history (approximately):

1st job: 40k (state government) - 2 years
2nd job: 60-65k (small firm) - 1 year
3rd job: 100k (NLJ 250 firm) - less than a year
4th job: 120k (federal government)

I feel extremely fortunate to have landed my current position. I’m also in a secondary market.

1) ~$225-250 all-in depending on equity comp and bonus
2) 2010 T14 Grad /2011 T3 LLM
3) $167.5k (NYC Market plus bonus at the time)
4) Tax (9-5 in-house)
5) Personally as in they know me? I know several biglaw partners who almost certainly make seven figures, as well as a small firm founder doing high-end trial work for oil companies who is in that range, but I wouldn't know exact comp. Have met? I've met a plaintiff's side trial lawyer who was probably worth high eight or low nine figures.
