I've noticed CBP posts a lot hiring announcements for attorney positions across the US. It doesn't seem super hard to qualify (looks like they are willing to hire out of law school). Does anyone have any info on this job?

High turnover. Low morale.

If you havent noticed most of the vacancies are in the same office. Means it's a low of turnover. Very chaotic culture. Very bureaucratic. Not a lot of brainpower.

I have an acquaintance who works at the CBP, and it sounds pretty chill actually. He deals with laws regarding the movement of goods into the port of entry of a major US city. I do recall an attorney position announcement a year back in the US International Trade Commission that required experience with customs law. If that's your thing, it could be a stepping stone.
