Weak follow up ruined this joke. Also, the Mexican food thing is not racism at all, and not related to the quality of Latino restaurants or anything. You’ve never heard the saying ‘beans beans they’re good for your heart, the more you eat them...’ etc? Or that spicy food makes you go to the bathroom?
It’s like any sentence where you include a nationality or ethnicity and an adjective is racist to some people
