Sending Judges 1st Semester Grades

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jan 21, 2018 3:27 pm

Hi all, I just got my 1L fall grades back this past Friday, and based on last year's numbers I should be between the top 5-10 percent of my class of a T1 school. Over break I had sent out about 40 applications to judges, and was wondering what the protocol is with sending transcripts unprompted?

Following that, I was contacted by a USMJ to submit my writing sample and transcript. Should I be aiming for any judge, or should I try to focus more on higher level federal judges? Basically, I am trying to decide if I should pursue this or hold off.

Thank you!
