if you are currently in law school, thinking about going to law school, about to take the bar, or currently a lawyer it would be a good idea to place a 90 day freeze on your credit account and start being anal about looking at your credit. This is especially important if you're about to or will in the future submit a C&F application. You don't need some jabroni in Russia buying 20k worth of shit ruining your chances at passing C&F, or causing unnecessary delays in the process.

Major bureaus include: Experian, Equifax, Transition, Innovis, and CheckSystems. Place a 90-day freeze at all of these (one placed with Equifax, TransUnion, or Experian will notify the other two, w/in this group). Don't forget CheckSystems (like credit reports for banking) and Innovis (smaller but still a credit agency).
