Re: Hiring finished?
If I was dinged from a firm during OCI screener is it worthwhile to re-apply with them? Or should I just take the no and scratch them off the list?

Re: Hiring finished?
It takes more time to ask the question than it does to just apply

There's probably a 99% chance that they're going to realize you've already had a screener and will ding you again. Then again, you've got nothing to lose by spending ~3 minutes putting together an application and applying.Anonymous User wrote:If I was dinged from a firm during OCI screener is it worthwhile to re-apply with them? Sent out about 150 applications on Sept 19. Started to get ding emails (“our class is full”, “we have a lot of qualified candidates”, etc.) already. If a firm is going to offer a screener, typically how long after the application is received is it until they reach out?

Besides googling, nalp, simplicity, linked in, where else can I find small/mid firms that are still hiring

Your career services office will likely have compiled a list of mid/small firms in your geographic area.Anonymous User wrote:Besides googling, nalp, simplicity, linked in, where else can I find small/mid firms that are still hiring

You should glance over Indeed and Craigslist if you have a few minutes to spare.Anonymous User wrote:Besides googling, nalp, simplicity, linked in, where else can I find small/mid firms that are still hiring

Depends on the market. For reasons I cannot explain, Los Anngeles firms don't hire during summer. But they hire like everyone died during fall. This is anecdotal.

A friend of mine (T20 law school, law review, top 10%) received an offer from a V50 firm for their Chicago office yesterday
