The group I was with in the waiting room was told explicitly before interviewing that they no longer give same-day offers. They said 2-3 business days.

Had a friend that did CB on monday and found out Tuesday before lunch. Did my CB yesterday, hiring partner I met with at the end said they would "move very quickly"

Offer the day after the CB, although this was pre-OGI so they may be moving slower now

I don't have my interview until the 22nd. Hopefully they don't fill up. I saw a thread from a few years ago saying S&C callback=offer. Anyone know if offer rates are still high?

Very high. My CB seemed more like a chance to sell me on the firm than vice-versa.

At my (T6) school, the S&C "guaranteed offer" appears to be a thing of the past, along with the on-the-spot offer. Last year 81% of CBs turned into offers - comparable to Deb (80%), Gibson (75%), PW (82%), Skadden (83%) and Weil (78%). Of course it's a high offer rate but consider that this means ~1 in 5 CBs turns into a ding.

If you dont hear back for a few days (no rejection and no offer after callback) is there a chance that they maybgive you an offer after a few weeks if a lot of ppl reject the offer?
