Re: S&c callback 2017
I'm curious to see what people specified as their preferences. My friend and I interviewed the same day but heard back three days apart. She said strictly GP, and I said strictly lit. It doesn't really matter. I'm just curious if it's that or that one of us was an easier decision/better interview.

Has anyone who interviewed this week (week of August 28) heard back yet?

Re: S&c callback 2017
FWIW, I heard VERY recently from VERY reliable source that they've only filled approximately 1/3 of the summer class so far. My guess is that initial wave of offers has gone out and firm is waiting for offerees to reject before making any more offers. People who didn't get offer within 1-3 days of callback are likely on a waitlist and may well get an offer in the next couple weeks as some fraction of earlier offerees start turning down. I imagine the firm has made ~100 offers or more in the last month, and most offerees won't be forced to decide for another week or two at least.

Re: S&c callback 2017
That's odd. I was offered the same day (interviewed in the morning, offered while at lunch with the associates). It does seem like most of my friends were offered the next day though, with one or two exceptions.Anonymous User wrote:The group I was with in the waiting room was told explicitly before interviewing that they no longer give same-day offers. They said 2-3 business days.
