Same here. It feels like the Bay Area specifically -- other markets seem to be turning around offers more quickly. Has anyone gotten offers from Fenwick/WSGR/Orrick?
Heard K&E in the Bay was making offers day after.

Stupid question: do offers typically come through phone calls or emails? What about rejections? I just wanna know what to expect. I've been on 3 LA callbacks (been 2 weeks for the first one, 2 days for the last one) and still haven't heard back. This is probably a bad sign huh. :(

For my CB today, I was given a timeline of a week to a week and a half, so I wouldn't count yourself out yet especially with the recent ones.

Offers typically by phone, followed by a confirmation email.
Rejections either by email or snail mail, depending on post-CB or post-screener.

What if others got rejections, but you only get radio silence?

Pillsbury Winthrop SF callback came about 2 days after. Most of my CBs have come by phone, but a few by email. Dings by email.

It depends on the firm. Not good, but not terrible, either. If you're at a firm with a huge class I'd be more comfortable saying it's bad news.

My firm has a small class (~5). The numbers are usually fairly consistent year to year in terms of callbacks extended -> callbacks accepted -> offers extended -> offers accepted. Because of that, it's hard to extend too many offers to early schools like USC/UCLA/Berkeley while Stanford and Harvard people haven't even come back yet. So while a star might get an offer at the start, someone who's more borderline we might wait and see how they fit in with the larger overall class. If it turns out no one likes the Harvard callbacks, the more borderline UCLA candidate might get a belated offer. Generally speaking, though, the waitlist isn't a great place to be, because it requires a miscalculation in yield/quality before we go there.

I'm sorry, I meant news about screeners->if they are giving callbacks.

It's been two weeks since most of my screeners, but only radio silence. I am at UCLA/USC.

That is worse then, especially if people from your school have been getting callbacks from those firms. Though every firm operates differently.

Thing is, no one in the school has mentioned hearing from the firms either..at least my friend group (generally top 30%).

I haven't heard anything yet, nor has anyone else I takes to. However I would be really surprised if offers didn't start coming out this week or early next.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
