Do firms (90% of the time) send out rejections if they do reject. Or could radio silence be a form of rejection?

I know a 3L got a rejection from a firm s/he applied to a year ago. I don't have a clue as to what the norms are, but my assumption is that firms would inform you of the rejection.

Corporate, but they said they'd allow splitting between their corp/lit practices if I really wanted.

LR, probably top 25%-ish, Bay Area undergrad, PMVDN, worked in a non-technical role at a startup before law school

3/10 emails back from screeners, 7 of them radio silence.

Been two weeks.

Some have said that 5 out of the 7 firms with radio silence have dinged people.

Is radio silence good then or was I just forgotten?
