Received invitation to interview for the Department of the Navy Office of the General Counsel 2L summer associateship program (DoN also represents the Marine Corps). Retention rate for 2Ls is 70%. I am interested in environmental/energy law/policy which DoN does practice in and is involved with.
Question: Any former DoD/DoN summer associates out there, or has anyone interviewed for this position before? More generally, can anyone offer constructive advice on doing well in a bigfed interview or beginning ones legal career in the pentagon?
