I did a cb with paul weiss at the beginning of this week. Has anyone else who interviewed with them heard back yet?

For future reference, Quinn Emanuel has a hard GPA cutoff.

For the people with CB's, did any of you strike out 2L?
Curious if the current people with CB's are just biglaw summers trading up.
It's been total radio silence for me. No rejections, no acknowledgements, no callbacks, nothing. A bit disheartening at this point.

Re: 3L OCI 2017
I had SA in a different country and would like to find a position in NY, but in the same practice. So I guess the firms that gave me cbs liked my substantive summer experience. My grades did not change much since 1L which was not good for 2L interviews.Anonymous User wrote:For the people with CB's, did any of you strike out 2L?

I didn't write the earlier post but based on this unverified interview: "We won't hire people who are not in the top 10 percent of their class, unless it's Harvard or Yale. We're very grade conscious, even when we hire someone laterally."Anonymous User wrote:How do you know this? Post cb ding? Post screener? Does that mean you got an offer without interviewing at all? Are you trading up/down?

Emailed PW for corporate and went straight to callback. Anybody interviewed with them and have insight on what they are looking for?

Are there potential issues with sitting on your summer firm offer for too long? I have a CB next week which will be about a month after I received my offer, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone else accepted on the spot. I don't think the firm would pull the offer before the response deadline in the offer letter, but could it be harmful to my future there if I don't accept until mid-September? Hopefully I'm just being paranoid.

Re: 3L OCI 2017
I'm in the same exact situation. It's been a month since I received my offer. But, we have till october 1st, so I don't anticipate any issues in terms of the offer being rescinded. I've been told that by the time we start no one remembers it took us longer to accept than others. I hope that's trueAnonymous User wrote:Are there potential issues with sitting on your summer firm offer for too long?
