Are firms amenable to minority applicants from HLS that went from bottom of the class (straight Ps) to a 4.0 semester (don't know where this would put one in rank)? Just wondering whether "trading up" is worth it.

ETA: Particularly if you're looking to make the jump into the V50/DC Market? And also if classes aren't cake walks. I.e., took substantive black letter law courses.

Also many of the dings came from a resume drop not mass mailing.

When they contacted you for a CB, did they call from an anonymous number by any chance?

Does Quinn do same-day offers to 3Ls, like they used to for their summer classes? I haven't heard for a few days, and wondering if I'm going to be dinged.

Seconded. Are firms not looking at 3Ls at all? It's going to be Labor Day and not so much as a screener has been extended.
