Seconded. Only place doing CBs in NY (at least that I've heard) is Quinn, which has no summer class so that's a different story.

So far only got bites at IP boutiques (I have a strong IP background). No movement or rejections from biglaw firms.

You're more likely waiting for the 2L SAs to decide whether they are taking the offer or not.

Right, but they have till Oct 1 to accept. Firms will have to look at 3Ls at some point before then? Hopefully we'll see some movement once 2L recruiting has died down a bit.

Several firms have 3L position postings that you can apply to directly on the website. Just go to the firm's website and see what's available.

Also curious about Quinn OCI turnaround.

Aaand, shameless question. Was dinged w/o interview a few weeks ago by a firm I mass-mailed. Just saw they're advertising openings in my dream practice group. Anyone have thoughts on how long the ding lasts? Am I out of luck for all 2018 postings forever? Or, is there a reasonable period of time after which I can check in and see if they're feeling friendlier? My stats are a little low, but ballpark for the firm.

Can't tell based on past threads, for those who did apply to CSM did you email CSM recruiting or the head of legal recruiting from NALP? Worth re-emailing the head of legal recruiting if you just emailed the generic one from the website?
