Thank you! I think it may make sense to turn down this interview.Anonymous User wrote:Yeah if you want to really compete for the job, you have to start case prepping way before EIP starts. They do take 3Ls post firm. I'm less sure about the timing, but you should ping triptrip (who went to BCG for full-time during 3L recruiting after a summer with a firm).Anonymous User wrote:Not much prep time given for these interviews. Do they take 3ls post firm?Anonymous User wrote:I'm pretty sure that there's a rebuttable presumption that you will move from the EIP screener to the 1st round. MBAs do not have an equivalent EIP screener, it's more of a way for BCG/McK to get a foot in the door and encourage law students to apply to their case interview process.

If you are serious about going for this job, then I would definitely go through the process. It gives you a sense of what to expect in a live environment (as opposed to having your friend case you), and you might even get it the first time around! I'm 99.9% sure they won't hold it against you if you interview, don't get it, and apply again.Anonymous User wrote:Thank you! Re: HLS EIP 2017
I am a tiny bit confused by the OCS guidance, should we be writing thank you notes post-CB interviews? It seems like the callbacks page hems and haws a bit on it and isn't particularly clear...

More than one person has gotten a CB to their Texas office. Not sure about New York. I heard that office is more competitive to get.Anonymous User wrote:Any word on Susman?

Re: HLS EIP 2017
On the BCG questions: feel free to reach out to me directly if you'd like to know more about the process, what to expect at each step, or how to prepare. We do mock cases, both officially and unofficially. Email me if you or someone you know has my email (best option) or shoot me a PM (slower).
We have both a summer program (that you can split with a firm) and recruit rising 3Ls for full-time positions. We'll even pay for the bar and let you start after you take it. If we called you back from EIP it's because we want you. We don't have an HLS quota or goal like the law firms do, so we get to pick and choose who we want to come in for 1Rs. That said, we don't expect you to say yes if you're a rising 2L in the middle of law firm callbacks. Feel free to reapply next EIP whether because you rejected our callback or didn't get one.

I am interviewing with BCG post EIP screener and would love to ask TripTrip about the process. Will someone please PM me TripTrip's email address? Thank you in advance.TripTrip wrote:On the BCG questions: feel free to reach out to me directly if you'd like to know more about the process, what to expect at each step, or how to prepare.
