Still haven't heard -- time to send an e-mail to ask?

cb with PW on 7/14, and still haven't heard anything. A recruitment assistant mentioned to me that I should hear back in about a week. Anyone else in the same situation? Is this not a good sign?

I'm in the same situation. Not sure what to make of it. Some people who interviewed around that time have already reported getting dinged. I don't see why they would just trickle those out, so it seems like maybe no news is good news? not sure what the delay is all about though. any ideas?

The previous PW 7/14 cb anon here. I was relatively optimistic until I searched on this forum and found that in previous years PW cb -> offer turnaround time was pretty short, like within 3-5 days. Maybe those in the PW ding group yesterday interviewed for a different practice group compared to us, and each practice group has its own way of sending out dings?

Third anon with same cb date and nothing yet. Maybe they forgot about us.

PSA to rising 2Ls: I heard from a recruiter at a satellite office of a V10 firm the other day that a number of students are indicating that they're interested in splitting between different offices when they send in their application. Don't do this. Splitting is something to bring up after you get an offer (or maybe with the recruiter during your callback if you think the vibe is right). Bringing up splitting from the beginning makes it look like you're not that interested in their office.

Dinged today by Proskauer and Cravath. Nothing from anyone else, and since someone said they got email-dinged from Weil and I haven't gotten an email from them yet, you probably still have stuff on the table too.
