Jump ship
2L law clerk working at a small firm. I'm not enjoying it at all. The work is fine but the environment sucks. Main attorney at the firm is a complete ahole. I've clerked at 4 other places and this is by far the worst experience. There's a chance they might offer me a job but it's not a place I want to work. I told the guy I would work the whole summer and in the fall. Definitely not going to continue in the fall but I'm thinking about just leaving now and doing something else for the rest of the summer if I can find something. What would be the consequences os this? Should I do it or just stay for the 6 more weeks.

Are you a rising 2L or a rising 3L? What school do you go to? What are your grades? I think it would be a large mistake to leave if you are a rising 2L.
