Re: Chicago OCI 2017
Contributing as well for future generations:
Grades a bit above 180
URM
Good prior corporate experience
25 screeners
14 callbacks (cancelled 3-4 before interviewing)
8 offers
All good stuff, only real recommendations for future participants is to give yourself a couple of days to see how callbacks develop before scheduling them, since I definitely did a few more callbacks then I should have because of the way scheduling worked out (and when offers started rolling).
Hope everyone's OCI has gone well, and good luck and good thoughts to anyone who's still waiting!

Re: Chicago OCI 2017
My experience for future OCI sufferers:
Grades 181+, plus COA clerkship
Female, non-URM
KJD
16 screeners
15 callbacks, of which I did 11
10 offers (and haven't heard back from the last callback I did)
Upon reflection, I'm happy with how things are shaping up. I sort of wish I'd done fewer interviews and sunk less time into this process, but I also became a much more polished interviewer and more comfortable with legal profession norms. I also didn't know anything about legal markets, how law firms work, what the differences are, etc. In those dimensions, doing lots of interviews was an effective use of my time and investment in my career. (A caveat: I didn't do any callbacks or screeners that I wasn't actively interested in, and wouldn't recommend doing them for practice.)
