I interviewed at the end of my internship there last semester (in August). The IRS was the only place I applied to (seriously, just rolled the dice).

Is it possible that none of us in this thread received offers and were waiting for nothing at this point?

Heard rumors of initial offers being made already. Source is another student who also applied, wouldn’t tell me how he knew so this is questionable but given the length of time that’s gone by also plausible.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from the OCC?

Interesting. Certainly plausiable, however, this is the first I've heard that. Do keep us posted because this wait is a tough one.Anonymous User wrote:Heard rumors of initial offers being made already. Anyone able to confirm the validity of the aforementioned rumors regarding offers from the OCC? Going a tad bit crazy this weekend.Anonymous User wrote:Heard rumors of initial offers being made already. Thanks for the update! Was it saying that you’re still being considered for the position?Anonymous User wrote:Continued interest email from DOL

Please elaborate on this email: Did you send a letter of continued interest, did they inquire, did they ask for additional information, did the email relate to a particular office or was it from the interviewer. etc.?Anonymous User wrote:Continued interest email from DOL

I did not send anything since my interview. The email said I was under active consideration and asked to me identify which offices I wish to be considered for, if any.Anonymous User wrote:Please elaborate on this email: Did you send a letter of continued interest, did they inquire, did they ask for additional information, did the email relate to a particular office or was it from the interviewer. etc.?Anonymous User wrote:Continued interest email from DOL

Thank you, that is comforting! I had to disclose my interests in the interview. I take it you interviewed via phone instead of OCI. Best of luck! Hopefully we both become a DOL Honors Atty.Anonymous User wrote:I did not send anything since my interview.
