Guys, I still haven't heard from Covington. I'm assuming they just want to surprise me with an offer w/out a CB.

Re: GULC EIW 2017
Last year I didn't hear back from them for like 2 weeks after the screener (when everyone I knew who had interviewed with them already had dings or CBs). Eventually got the overly nice ding email that seems personal, but that everyone gets. I think it's sort of a marginal candidate waitlist purgatory thing.Anonymous User wrote:Guys, I still haven't heard from Covington. Never got a response from Schulte or Willkie. Would've liked an official ding just for the record, you know.

I'd rather have them just bring me in as an equity partner and let me earn my name on the door.Anonymous User wrote:I am sure they are just trying to figure out where to put your name in the firms letterheadAnonymous User wrote:Guys, I still haven't heard from Covington. Are we supposed to respond to an offer email to acknowledge it if we aren't accepting or denying it yet?

Nah I think the polite thing to do would be respond and say thanks but I'm still thinking about it. Emails are easy to respond to anyway.Gray wrote:Did the email have an offer expiry date? Is it the same thinking if you received the offer in person from an interviewer, but the email came from a recruiting committee member?buckiguy_sucks wrote:Nah I think the polite thing to do would be respond and say thanks but I'm still thinking about it. Anyone have a sense of how the cb -> offer turnaround in NY compares to the screener -> cb turnaround? Asking for a friend.
