Talk to career services if you're concerned. I went in the other day and it was somewhat reassuring talking to K-Don. He knew which CBs had gone out and went over some of the other programs for finding jobs if, for whatever reason, OGI doesn't work it.Anonymous User wrote:When should people start worrying?

Yes but don't read tea leaves. Hustle until you have a job. Even if you're VLR.

Yes, it means you are somewhere in the middle between "yes" and "hell no." And even if it's in the CB column, if you haven't gotten a ding, it means you're in some pile where you're better than a ding but not quite a CB yet. It might take time, but you're not out of it.Anonymous User wrote:Clarification Question: If something is in the Ding column, but not in the CB column, does that mean that I still have a chance if I haven't heard either way?Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:So.. it looks like these firms below have given out their CBs. A ding doesn't mean "hell no." Almost all of these decisions are made on the margin and they are relatively random.

Fair. I was the person who said "hell no."Br3v wrote:A ding doesn't mean "hell no." Almost all of these decisions are made on the margin and they are relatively random.
I never meant to discourage anyone, just that they've completed the application review and they've decided that they have plenty of other candidates worthy of their consideration. Outside a MM application, once you've been rejected, you won't be considered for a CB later.

That's right, just have to make sure you are explicit and clear when talking about jobs this time of year because people get nervous and on edge. Hang in there everyoneAnonymous User wrote:Fair.
