They have a small NYC summer class (14-20 students). I don't think they do as many interviews as other big NYC firms.

They don't. I had to put them #1 in order to get a slot.

How has mass mailing been going for people? Other boards are saying a lot of offers have already gone out.

Can anyone personally verify offers at this point?

I didn't mass mail all summer but instead tried to build a meaningful connections with the firms I'm interested in. I'm a bit below median and I have 22 interviews but I feel pretty zen walking into oci.

I'm on the same boat, slightly below median. 25 Interviews in total, still nervous.

Yes, some Michigan folks, particularly those interning in the cities they're shooting for, have offers. I wouldn't worry about it though. If there weren't spots to be had, folks wouldn't come to EIW.

+1. No offers but I have a call back with one firm I mass mailed. Got extremely lucky.

There weren't really a lot of open interview slots left on Symplicity. Are the open sign up lists going to be any different?

Good but not stellar grades. MM'd probably 10 firms so far. One upcoming CB at a NYC V50.

Last year there were plenty of signup slots available day of. You also didn't need to be there early to get them, just before roughly 10AM. But this year could be entirely different.

Anyone know how soon to expect callbacks to go out? Has anyone gotten one already?

Based on past years and on my experience, some firms (especially NY) move fast, and some people definitely have CBs already. Also based on past experience, the fact that you don't have any yet does not mean you struck out. No reason to freak.

When reporting CB, if everyone could add initials of interviewers, that would be helpful.

The interviewers typically call the number from your resume.

If you got dinner invitations from 7-10 interviews that you had, arent those cbs?

I mean, they haven't said "come to our office," so no.

If no dinner invitations, does it mean a ding is on the way?

The most likely answer is "depends".

Some firms (particularly those not in nyc but also Sullivan and Cromwell, for example) don't make decisions right away. S+C explicitly said they weren't making decisions until today. So with these guys it might very well not mean anything.

Other firms extended callbacks yesterday along with or without dinner invitations. For those ones, who knows?

Best bet regardless is to just keep doing you and beasting screeners, showing up to hospitality suites and being charming AF. Much more productive than worrying.
