Part time job for additional income
Hi all,
I work full time for a small law firm- 90% of time 9-5. The downside is the pay. I am looking for something to do part time, a few hours a week, or on the weekends. Any suggestions? Where should I look, other than craigslist etc.? Thanks!

As someone who works two jobs including at a small firm (I'm also a football coach for a lower level team but we travel) I'd recommend this. Having a second job you can turn off like Uber is critical, because both gigs won't be understanding of each other when you have important dates at same time.TooMuchTuna wrote:Uber/Lyft?

Are you allowed to do your own legal work? Not under your firm's name?

Yes I am. I thought of that, but would have to advertise, find some office space etc. which means spending money with an unknown result...Anonymous User wrote:Are you allowed to do your own legal work? Not under your firm's name?

It is not a big money earner, but I enjoyed teaching classes in the evenings/weekends. Mostly in adult ed programs, but that branched out to a few other odds and ends.

Perhaps per diem work? Or coaching some moot court teams?
