How to find the necessary networking events?
Anyone have advice for rising 2Ls on how to locate networking events in areas that are outside your law school's local network and career development pages?

"Networking Events" are mostly flame. If you have a chosen practice area, learn what events practitioners are attending that relate to it- target those first.

If you are in the city the Bar Association has a number of events. Students are free usually or minimal cost anyway.
I would look for events at your local bar association.
