Me too.

Biglaw?

Seamless order tonight?

Rage levels?

If high, would you push the senior associate or the service partner you're working for out of the 53rd floor window first?

A/S/L?

30 m IL

big enough law

Ordered some lyfe kitchen to pretend I'm healthy and get more bang for the buck - chia ginger seed drink, chicken strips and some shrimp on some lentil shit

Not high but drunk. Killed a 1/4 of a handle of bulldog whiskey

Service partner came by at 2 pm to tell me something about what I already knew and I told them I have it under control and to fuck off(in nicer terms aka yeah it's going out ) I really don't care about them at all.

Biglaw? The biggest.

Seamless order tonight? A rack of ribs from Seamless. 4 sides. Gross calories had to be into the 2-3,000.

Rage levels? Off the charts. Junior associate mailed in sh*t draft on Friday night at 11PM. Strongly suspect it was strategic--he's done 20 times better work in the past and I know he has a wedding tomorrow --and he wanted to jam timing so he didn't have to work tonight or tomorrow and I would have to do it all myself to get it to client as promised on Sunday. Doc management software says it hasn't been edited since last night. He could have just sent it to me yesterday and told me about wedding so as to not F my Friday and Saturday, I wouldn't be, and I have the reputation of not being, a jerk about living a normal life.

If high, would you push the senior associate or the service partner you're working for out of the 53rd floor window first? I'm about 9 years out of school. N/A on senior associates. See above about junior associates.

A/S/L? 37/M/midtown

Same for you?

I haven't decided yet. I want to get this out of way as I have a dinner tomorrow. Will stay up until I can't keep head up. Will let this honorable board know when I leave (friends don't let friends do biglaw).

What's your practice area? Still with your original firm? How many attorneys?

When was the last time you played golf? Did you play well?

What was the last thing you have cooked?

Have you thought about switching your insurance to American National? Have you received any quotes from American National?

I think you and I would be buds if you lived in LA.

I think there would be a pretty good chance of that. I'm generally well liked. For example, in pre-school I was named "Most Popular" and in 8th grade I was again named "Most Popular" by my classmates.

What specifically leads you to think we'd be buds?

Damn, I thought tax was supposed to be relatively chill. I know it is still big law, so it will suck. But given how much you've talked about hating big law i would have thought you were in corporate.

If you're still taking questions: what is your plan for the future? Stick it out or lateral to another firm? Go in-house? Reboot and leave the law?
