Interview Tips for Temporary Employment Gig During School Year at Law Firm

Post by Anonymous User » Thu May 18, 2017 6:15 pm

Hello TLS friends,

I am looking for a little advice as to how I should approach a phone interview that is fast-approaching. The job is with a respected law firm that is looking for temp work during the school year for 20 - 30 hours week that pays well. I really want this job for the extra experience during 3L, to be out of the classroom, and to pay for my living expenses. But for whatever reason, I am a bit uneasy as to how I should approach this. I think I will just have to hone in on selling myself and my ability to perform the specific tasks involved (which is mostly doc review and redlining documents). But does anyone have any advice or experiences they can share for these specific types of interviews?

Thanks in advance.
