FWIW this is not true. I don't like to drink, and I don't feel weird not ordering a drink. If you don't want one then don't have one. The only drinking faux pas is getting shitfaced and making an ass of yourself.

What is the consensus on wearing a white tee under button down shirts? I always do this when buttoning up for a suit/tie, but I'm working at a business casual firm so the top button will usually be open, and I feel like it looks decidedly dorky and low class to have a white t collar popping out from under, say, a blue or lavender shirt. But at the same time I don't want to risk sweating through my button down and the tee gives some nice protection from that. Would wearing a white tank top instead work, or is that some sort of faux pas?

V neck undershirts will solve your problem. I would not go for a tank top (I assume you mean a wife beater) as that seems odd with business attire.

Yeah, no to tank tops, use v-necks if you about the undershirt showing. The rule I was taught (no idea if it's right) with dress shirts was to only leave the collar unbuttoned if it was a point or spread collar shirt, in which case even a crew neck undershirt was usually fully covered. With a button down collar however, I was taught to leave the top non-collar button unbuttoned as well. My solution was just to not wear button down collar shirts to work.

For business professional for women, if I chose to wear a gray skirt suit should it be dark grey or light grey. And what color top goes well with it (if wearing black heels). I usually wear black suits with a blue button up but I want to do something different since that's all I ever wore to interviews.

There used to be one that was $350 for shoe trees, belt, and shoes. DK if they do it anymore.

I don't think they do it anymore. It's now a 25% discount for active members of the military, students, and first responders. Unclear whether the discount applies to the belts and shoe trees (which came in the $350 deal for students previously).

No news is fine. Lawyers are unbelievably bad at giving feedback. That goes double for summers. When you complete a few weeks/projects, just go ask someone.

Yeah, this. Don't expect anyone to go out of their way to give you feedback. You often have to go seek it out. I'd also suggest not just popping in an office asking for feedback on the spot. Shoot the person an email asking for a few minutes (like 15) to briefly discuss. This will give them a chance to actually read your work product.
