Cooley grad with low GPA can't find work. Help? Forum

I went to cooley and had barely above a 2.0 GPA
Passed bar on 4th try. I apply to everything including legal aid clinics. No one seems willing to hire me. My felony doesn't help either. Suggestions?

I heard that Shake Shack just opened in Michigan. They probably are hiring! GL.

Op, you should mass mail big law firms, but also midlaw and even smaller litigation boutiques. Unfortunately, federal judges might be a tad out of your league, but try state supreme courts and courts of appeals.

The important thing is that you earned a JD. You'll land a six-figure job before you know it.

Look at Cooley's average GPA, bar pass rate, job stats, and mi bar rules on felonies...... It adds up. Just looking for any real advice. Been spam applying everywhere. Even for legal secretary work that claims to only need s HS diploma. Nothing seems to stick. Ironically big firms don't care one iota who does appearance work so the appearance agencies let me be the FAC of big law but for normally as low as $44 a hearing. Cram in a few per day and its ok but then it dries up for a few weeks and I endup at labor ready pulling trash out of recycling for $9 an hour with drug addicts who only are there since their po is monitoring their teather. Need real advice folks. Please. Thanks.

Take a time machine back to the moment where you committed the felony, and then this time, don't do the felony. Then take another time machine back to your time in law school, and this time, actually get good grades. Take a third time machine back to elementary school, and learn to read, write, and spell in English. Lastly, take another time machine back to the decisive moment where you committed to Cooley school of law, and this time, don't.
