Compliance or regulatory work instead of law firms

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Apr 20, 2017 11:44 pm

At what point do you decide that you're done pursuing law firms and you're going to use your JD in another capacity. I have two interviews with two large investment banks doing regulatory or compliance work and another is a government office (obviously not as much pay). I'm still waiting on bar results here and struggling to pass, I served as a 1L SA but if I didn't like billing hours in midlaw why would I like it anywhere else? any input please thank you

In compliance and absolutely love it. Will not go back to law unless I absolutely have to. PM if you have questions.
