Not that I've heard -- sorry.

I know of a Richards offer, though, and my understanding is they are offering on a rolling basis.

5% per year per class. which is quickly WAY below other markets.

plus if you can't live with it later, leave. people mostly don't because the idea of NYC pay in exchange for NYC hours sounds real bad especially when you work w NYC counsel and know how bad they have it.

The gist that I got when interviewing is that the hours are long but doable. I don't think the expectation is there to be there late (9-10) too often, unless there is something that needs to get done. And there will be times when things need to get done.
Everyone I interviewed with at Young Conaway seemed to think their hours were the best of the Wilmington firms, and no other firms I interviewed with in the city made comparable statements.

For me, anyway, the hours are very bimodal. I get in at 9 and either leave at 7 or midnight to 2 a.m. (because of a filing).

Have you gotten any sense of what practice groups get crushed more often?
BK, corp trans, lit?

Based on what multiple firms told me, it seems like 10-7 (I don't know why but everyone said they came in around 10)

Also, some firms have a higher billable hour requirement in Lit than any other practice.

i've heard horror stories out of each of these groups and also seen each get very slow during my time in DE. opinions probably let you own your schedule the most (that's not corp trans, mind you) but i would rather do 16 hours a day of lit than 7 a day of alt entity opinions

So, anyone have any information on offer time tables from DE? I had callbacks with both RLF and Skadden two and a half weeks ago and have nothing but radio silence to show of it. Should all hope be lost at this point?

For RLF I'd bet a good amount of money you're on a wait list til they see everyone or hear back from offers that are out. Reason for saying that is I know someone who had a CB on a Thursday and got an offer Tuesday. I had a CB on a Wednesday & was dinged like the following Saturday or something via snail mail.

RLF keeps a waitlist, and it can take quite some time to hear from them.

I had a callback with RLF on a Thursday and an offer on a Tuesday. I am releasing the offer today, though, so good luck!
Generally, i think they offer pretty quickly after the CB and then hold a bunch for yield.

In DE (and other secondary markets) no immediate news should be taken as good news. A lot of these places will ding right away so if you make it past that, then you're still in the running. It's been happening to me.

Callback was a couple weeks ago; I'm at a lower T14 with no Del ties, a bit below median

In my group [Big 4 corp trans], hours are usually 9 to 7 or 8. That being said, if you're particularly busy you could be there into the AM hours.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
