Also curious

Glassdoor says 5th years get paid ~228, meaning they get paid market (or at least during 5th year). however, maybe this includes bonuses?

It also says 8th years get paid around the same.
Any first hand accounts?

I like this firm so below market paying would be very disappointing

Based on this thread, it seems like you start at 125, then go to 160. Not the worst because you get a huge pay bump aftery our first year but you're still paid less than market

Just wait until you have 2 offers in hand. Ask someone how the salary for the summer will work. It's just a pro-rated 1st year salary so you can figure it out from there. It absolutely shouldn't be a consideration of yours. It's big law, get an offer and then see what happens. Doesn't mean you should put any less effort into the callback.

Because, among other reasons, they don't charge their clients the same rates as market paying firms.
