You need to go in with your game face on. An associate fucks up, you better let him hear it. Whip that team into shape. Nothing screams offer like a little hardware in the office.

Dude I'm great at baseball/softball thanks to little league-keep your eye on the ball, step into it and try to make solid contact, don't try to smash the ball you'll look stupid when you miss.

Last summer I tried to crush a ball and whiffed pretty hard. I just laughed it off, but it was a little embarrassing. I still play hard pitch baseball, so it was kind of a der moment.
