Where is the easiest place to land a federal clerkship. I have awful grades. Tier 2. Can I get one?

Nope.

Well, possibly a magistrate clerkship. Clerkships are very personal, consult your school's career services office.

And my personal, I meant that individual judges have individual preferences. The fast majority of federal district court and federal court of appeals judges won't look at somebody near median at a T2. But there may be some that do. And magistrate judges often draw from different pools.

If you really want to clerk, it may be possible at the state level.

Ultimately I want a chance at the best firm job possible...is this the appropriate strategy? Whats my best chance? I dont want to work for a suppper shitty firm

Oh and by the way, its a top tier 2 school (should be a tier 1 and is considered by many to be on par with tier 1 schools)

Im serious...I want a good frim job. I'm looking for a good way to do this. Clerkships seem to be the wya to go.
