DOJ Internship: Application referred to selection committee

Post by JAP1985 » Wed Jan 06, 2010 12:35 pm

I applied for a summer internship with the DOJ, and I just got an update that my application was referred to the selection committe. Does anyone know, from past experience, how long it takes for them to make a selection, and is this a good sign that I'll likely be accepted into the program?

I have a couple of internship notification deadlines approaching in the next couple of weeks, but this one is by far my top choice.

This seemed like a good place to ask this question-sorry if the title is misleading (i'm an 0L). Thanks !
