Good luck on the waitlists and if things don't fall into place for you, good luck reapplying next cycle!

I started Baylor Law this summer and was looking for a place to live or looking for some roommates (male or female). I'm subleasing right now but need a more permanent place starting in August. I found these duplexes about a mile or so away from campus. There are just 2 streets filled with about 30 of these duplexes. They were built about 5 years ago and have 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a 2 car garage. The rent for the entire duplex is $1050, which would equal out to $350 a person. If anyone is interested or if you are looking for a roommate, please let me know. Thanks.

Ok, I was never able to pull the trigger and withdraw and have been thinking about this a lot with Baylor's 6/15 deposit deadline fast approaching.

I like Baylor a lot and have no issue living in Waco. I am primarily concerned with the fact that USNWR provides that only 61% of graduates were employed at graduation and that less than 5% of Baylor grads make their way into NLJ250. At SMU, for example, approximately 20% of grads are employed by big law.

Why do so few Baylor grads make their way into NJL250 firms? Is this by choice given Baylor's expertise in trial advocacy or is this because NLJ250 firms simply refuse to recruit from Baylor.

I am very interested in working in big law in either Dallas or Houston.

I am presently torn b/w a full-ride at Baylor vs. sticker at WUSTL. I am on a couple of other wait lists, but I am not counting on anything. Therefore, it's really b/w Baylor and WUSTL at this point.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

I started at Baylor in the fall of '08. If you have any questions/concerns just pm me or post them here and I'd be happy to help out as best I can.
