I'm not, but I know there is a skydiving club at UF.

On lexisnexis there is a carpool partner finder. I haven't personally signed up for it but it seems like it should be helpful to find people to carpool with. When you have sign up with the code they have sent in the email, make sure you on the law school home page. Under class preparation, choose "Access Web course." Another screen will pop up and you click on the tab that says courses. Search for the 1L orientation & carpool course and enroll in the course. You can also start a thread to get to know you classmates once you enroll in the course.

I am sure on whether I want to do carpooling or just catch the bus so i haven't sign up to find carpool buddies. I don't really driving. Nor do i live that far from the law school (not walking distance though). does anyone whether you have to be willing to drive in order to sign-up to carpool or can you just be a passenger?

Though I haven't looked into the program (I did sign up on Lexis), I'd imagine that one would have to be willing to drive, or, at the very least, make some sort of reciprocal contribution to the other students involved in the program... Of course, this is idle speculation, so, don't take my word for it.

I live rather far off campus, but, I'm sure I'd be willing to contribute to the "I need a ride" fund of someone or another once of twice...

In other news, did anyone get the email from Lidsky for our first day assignments/syllabus for torts... Course policies weren't too strict, and the first day readings he assigned were pretty informative.

ILSP is in less than a week, so, I look forward to meeting everyone (I for one am anticipating the banquet).

Any of you UF students wanna "help a brotha out" and email me professor Mashburn's civ pro exams? She is a visiting prof at my school this year.

Protip: UF students won't take civ pro until their second semester.

They're asking if any former students have old exams, so some of the UF alums here might have some. hombredulce, I see what I can find for you and pm ya.

Wasn't attempting to be a douche, merely stating the facts. Though, in retrospect, UF students might still have access to said professor's exams... I don't know how the library works, yet.

Mistergoft - I didn't discern any douchyness in your post so its cool....like you said a student would still have access to the test bank regardless of wether or not they even take the professor(as long as the library has the tests archived).

PK - I'd appreciate that...thanks!

To those with lexis access,

How did you get it? I haven't received any e-mails about lexis access or anything like that.

Yep. I went to UF undergrad, if that makes any difference. I've been getting regular e-mails from UF Law, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't get the one regarding Lexis. In any case, I emailed Bonita Young, so hopefully that will clear things up.

Hi guys and gals,

I will be a 2L this year, and I'm more than welcome to take questions about the law school, and Gainesville in general.

Also, I laughed when I saw the posting of Little's class policies. Thanks for this! (I was in Section 3 last year.)

I obsessed over this momentarily, then, realized that regardless, it would probably make little to no difference since it was only orientation. I ended up wearing jeans, and not regretting it.

My fight for favorite prof is either her or Harrison. They're equal. I have some great Harrison smack down stories.

Retyping notes does get a bit tedious. He doesn't seem to say anything when people have them out.
