Re: WashU (wustl) Class of 2012!
Off the WL at Vanderbilt today.
Damn, this is tough. Why did this have to happen so late in the game! Particularly after I signed a lease!
Well, would anyone be interested in taking an apartment about a 10-minute walk from school and the Delmar Loop? It's right on the Metrolink as well, about a 1,400 sq ft, 2-bedroom place in a 6-unit apartment building, the address is:
5933 Kingsbury Ave, St Louis, MO 63112
$800/mo, which is a huge steal for this place if you ask me. PM me for details. Ugh!

I will be in touch with everyone who PMed me regarding the apartment...it looks like we are probably packing up for Nashville unless WUSTL comes through with a truly awesome offer!

Okay, this is one last call for people interested in this apartment.
The address is 5933 Kingsbury. It's insanely convenient.
I got the go-ahead from the landlady to give out her # and email address, so please PM me ASAP if you are interested. I'll be in touch shortly with everyone who has asked already. Thanks guys!

I just saw we got our @wulaw.wustl.edu email addresses. Does anybody have any idea how to access it?

easiest thing to do is to forward your wustl email to your gmail. That way you'll never forget to check it.

Re: WashU (wustl) Class of 2012!
Thanks very much...it was an incredibly tough call and has caused my relationship a little bit of grief, but in the end hopefully I won't regret it . As much bad press as St. Louis tends to receive, I am honestly very bummed to not be living there...Forest Park is absolutely amazing, the Metrolink straight from the airport to a block from my apartment was appealing, the buses/Metro actually run LATE (buses stop at 10PM and hardly run to begin with in Nashville), you've got the CITY MUSEUM, etc etc...It is a hugely underrated city.gk101 wrote:Congrats on Vandy stiendle
I am less enthused about Nashville in most regards (I just wish it was larger and more pedestrian-friendly) but my fiance is actually happier with it, so I'll take it in stride.
My landlady in St. Louis says that she has only received one email regarding the apartment...Almost a dozen people PMed me about it and I should have gotten back to everyone by now -- keep those calls and emails coming, folks. Maybe I won't lose a deposit AND a first month of rent .
EDIT: Oh, it looks like the landlord put up an ad again on Craiglist. Here it is --

Our individual email has been on the front of WebSTAC since we were first able to access that site but I believe it is still un-usable, I tried logging in and it would not allow it. Also, you can actually change the beginning of your WUSTL email to whatever you would like, which I thought was neat so you aren't just a chopped up sequence of your name and numbers.

Re: WashU (wustl) Class of 2012!
someone PM'd me this question, so here's your answer.
in gmail go to settings-->accounts-->under getmail from other accounts click add, put in your username and PW, the POP server is webmail.law.wustl.edu and port is 110. that's it, pretty simple. You should also make sure to verify that it's in both parts of that accounts page, "send mail as" and "get mail from other account"

Re: WashU (wustl) Class of 2012!
does anyone know what our class schedule is going to look like?
is it the same for everyone (though of course different sections)?
every day of the week? all day?
we have one less class than most law schools, right? so how does that work for our weekly schedule?
