Answer:
You don't have to drink to enjoy art, jazz, good food, and the zoo that's right over St. Charles in the park.

As for my ASD: I went to the mid-April one and it was great. There seemed to be plenty of cool people and everyone was real friendly even if deep down they were really dirty gunners wishing death upon me. I just wish I didn't have to leave so soon after -- I'd have loved to grab some drinks with some 2012ers.

I wouldn't be the one to ask. My girl strategy is mainly to flop around cluelessly until the pretty girl mistakenly interprets my lack of apparent cleverness as modesty.CassieRae wrote: a group of undergrad boys whispered to each other, then one brave one shouted a holla and asked me to go to happy hour. please tell me that doesnt work.

Just talked to my buddies at admissions, they said they just sent out the first batch and the tech people are setting up the accounts for the second batch now.
We have the best admissions office ever. Also I am a nerd.
Once I get the email it'll really FEEL official, though.

Re: Tulane 2012
i'll be at tulane in the fall. judging from what i've read in this thread so far, there seems to be a lot of facebook addicts that will be there. i will warn you all right now that if you get on facebook in front of me in class i will be forced to log on to facebook and poke you. not because i want to, but because i will be nosily distracted by your page and nothing gets someone off facebook faster than a creepy, random poking.

I got the summer reading email today. As far as I can tell there's no point to doing any of it, but I did like that they included some Albert Camus.

Anybody else planning to use a Mac despite all the encouragement from the school to use a PC? I'll probably just get Microsoft Office for Mac to make the tedious Legal Research and Writing stuff less of a pain. I use Pages from the iWork collection currently.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
