So how far is this pilgrimage, exactly?
They have papaya salad and catfish. I haven't had any in years. We MUST go.

It's the Fordham of NYC dining establishments.

Catch the 7 to 61st or 69th Street. We could also walk to 57th and 7th and take the R to 65th Street.

I would be inclined to avoid cheese with red curry, though I'm sure it can be done. I just like the flavor of red curry so much.

I love red curry, but I didn't make it as well as my favorite Thai places do. It was passable, but if I had ordered out I would've been disappointed. The curry paste I used was Roland red curry paste without MSG. The paste was good. I think I used too much coconut milk. And I screwed up the fried tofu. It was squishy instead of crunchy then squishy. :|

There's an Indian restaurant not far from school--I think it's in the lower 50s near 9th--that makes masala and curry pizzas. I can't vouch for the pizzas since I just discovered their existence, but the curry I had there was quite tasty.

I'm still impressed that you made something like that!

If you want Indian food to die for, I recommend Earthen Oven, on 72nd and Columbus. There is a lunch buffet for $13.95, and it's worth every cent. Many, many delish vegetarian options!

I'm waiting for it to get a bit colder, but once it does you all can come over and I'll make spanish hot chocolate. My grandmother sent over the chocolate bars, so all we need now is colder weather.

That sounds so amazing! I'll bring nutmilk, if I can get my hands on any. It tastes amazing with chocolate.

Throw in some churros to that spanish hot chocolate.

I think we need to change the title of this thread to "Fordham Class of 2012 talks about FOOD"

Oh, and, I can't remember which of you brought this up, but this has to be added to the list: http://www.maxbrenner.com/
