Can anyone with an Aug. 1 move-in date access their move-in time or roommate information yet? I just got an email from UCLA saying that the information was available but I still can't access it...Thanks!

I got the e-mail today saying my move-in information is ready to be viewed. When I try to log in it gives me the following error message:

"This site is intended to be used by current and future residents. The status associated with the UID used indicates you do not have housing and may not access this site."

I called the incompetent people at housing twice over the last two weeks about this issue. Both times they said the issue will be resolved same day, but it still hasn't been resolved. Also, don't bother trying to ask anyone at the parking office or Weyburn office how much parking at Weyburn is. They'll give you the run around and tell you it's not their job to know for 30 minutes before they finally take 30 seconds to look it up and finally give you an answer. As you can probably tell, I'm frustrated.

All of that said, everyone in the law school administration has been super nice and helpful with any issue I've ever had with them.

Same was happening to me. It's now been resolved (for me, at least) - room and roommate information all listed. Move-in is on August 1st.

So for Weyburn parking do we still have to fill out that Parking Application thing and mail it in by Thurs.?

No, that's if you want parking on campus. If you want parking at Weyburn, the day you move in you will have the opportunity to fill out a form and get parking. That's what they told me.

Does everyone who was assigned a two bedroom of some sort in Weyburn already have their roommate assignment? I've contacted the housing people several times now and they keep saying it will be posted soon but still no information. Thanks!

I'm in a two-bedroom townhouse and I have no roommate assignment either. I called housing and they pulled up my file, and apparently I have no roommate assigned as of now. They are sending offers out to people on the Weyburn waitlist, and then I'll have a roommate I guess. Maybe that's what is happening with you too?

edit: It's also possible that your roommate didn't authorize to have their info. released? I thought the housing people mentioned that too...maybe not because that would be weird right?

Are top lockers supposed to be better? This SBA form indicates that being able to choose is a big deal, but are we basically talking about whether or not I have to kneel when I'm using my locker? Am I missing something?

ha i dont think you're missing anything, but I had the same feeling. I thought about writing some sort of addendum about my GPA to insure acceptance at a top locker.

Can anyone already living in Weyburn do me a huge favor? My dad recently shipped some stuff (kitchenware and such) to my Weyburn address. Unfortunately it's already arrived...several days ahead of my 8/1 check-in

when i spoke with financial aid they said the earliest day for disbursement would be aug. 9th.

My roommate and I are moving into Weyburn Terrace into an unfurnished 2 br apartment. We would like to switch with two people who have a townhouse (furnished or unfurnished) and might want an apartment instead. Let me know.
