In my message he said "very soon" so it's definitely okay to be obsessive. Like everyone else, I'm going to wait the rest of the cyle and decide, but Harvard has always been the dream!

As for lack of motivation...I'm actually in law school in Canada, and have my first exams on Monday! Yikes!

Hope to see you all in Cambridge next fal!

Congratulations, everyone! :)

However, thinking about it, I thought there was no hope any of us would get called Tuesday so I'm prob not the best person to be giving my opinion.

I'll shut up now...
okay...I'll step away from the mailbox then.
Oh no, I didn't mean to stop obsessively checking your mailbox (heaven knows I still am); I just meant that you should recognize your obsession as illogical...

Oh to be on TLS... ;)

Did anyone else get the email from Toby this morning?
Congrats again -- you should have heard from me last week letting you know about your admission to Harvard Law School. A letter and binder package is on its way soon. In the meantime, you should remember to withdraw yourself from any binding Early Decision applications submitted at other schools. Every year we end up with 1 or 2 disputes because students forget to do this.

Best,
Toby
It's making me worry I accidentally applied ED somewhere, haha.

The real question is, did you guys get the one with the typos in it, followed by the correction? I got one with a different title (HLS- A few years out of school?) and an attachment, followed by another with this message:

**Sorry -- ignore the subject line and attachment in that last e-mail...I was revising an e-mail used last year & forgot to alter***

Ha, no. But I did play his voice mail (saved, of course) once this morning after I had an irrational fear that I'd made the whole thing up.

The email helped sustain my sanity.

i think this strategy may be backfiring for me...mostly because "relax" turns into "how hard do i really need to study for these finals?"

I think it's a good sign, at the least.
