I don't know if there is a deadline per se, but I'm guessing that the closure has prevented the entering of any grades into the system. Profs have to give the grades to the registrar, who then has to correlate grades/exam numbers to students. Even if profs were done reading the exams they wouldn't be entered yet-- and that may create a backlog when everything opens back up tomorrow.

Thanks for shedding light on the process for me.

I'm not sure this is quite right - I received grades in Bear Facts that first showed up at the end of December (between Xmas and New Year's) when the school has been closed.

Only an LRW grade here, too. I was so excited to have my first grade back, and then I realized what it was.

They're all in, guys. Now we can finally stop worrying and start focusing on 1L, part deux. See you on Monday!

Well, they're not *ALL* in. Mod 2's grades haven't been posted yet (at least according to my limited straw poll). It looks like the furlough has led to posting grades on a rolling basis.

Ahh, okay. Well, mod 5's are all in. And supermods with Levy and Gergen are in, as well.

Yeah, sorry if that came across snarky. Just didn't want anyone freaking out if they didn't have any posted.

Not snarky at all, actually. :D I prefer to be corrected if I am giving out bad info - especially when it comes to grades, when everyone is in a panic.

I don't have any grades posted for me but LRW. I'm in Mod 3. Meanwhile, my fiancee in mod 4 has all of her grades posted.

Hi. I have a visiting professor from Berkeley and was wondering if someone would be willing to forward me any old exams/answers etc. that you guys have access to. Just send me a message. Thanks!

We most likely can't do that due to the honor code. If you don't have access to it, we can't send it. Sorry.

How about a little revival of this thread, 2012??

We just about finished 1L year!!! At least, most of Mod 5 has finished all their in-class finals. :D

I found somewhere on the website that they won't be released until mid-July. Just search "spring grades" on law.berkeley. I pray it's not true, because I honestly don't think I will make it that long.

Aren't we the school that doesn't care about grades?

Just don't sweat it! You can't do anything now to change them, so why worry?

Am I curious? Yep. But it's like a sunk cost--what's done is done. Focus on where you are and where you are going.

Haha - all very true.

Trying to focus on the write-on competition - which, ironically, we won't know the results of until mid-July, either. :D
