So here's the deal. Given your LSAT score and the median LSAT score of your incoming class, what correlation did you find between your LSAT 'position' in your class and your 1L grades thus far? I know it's a little premature for 2012, but people can vote from 2010 and 2011 too.

Hmm...I'm realizing now that correlation might be confusing and it would probably be better to opt for 'better than predicted'.

LSAT was 159 but im in the top 10%. Personally, I think while there is some validity behind the test as an indicator, its poor if anything.

Fall semester 1L--did considerably worse than LSAT predicted. Ever since, have done about like it predicted, or slightly better.

You aren't going to get anything worthy results from this. People who do worse than their LSAT indicated are much less likely to vote than those who did better.

yeah I suspect the same...the poll should not be so heavily skewed towards people who "outperformed" their LSAT. That is especially true since more scientific studies have indicated the opposite trend

I was a classic low UGPA (below 25th percentile) splitter.

My LSAT was 11 points above the 75th percentile at my school, and I was the highest LSAT scorer (literally #1) who matriculated.

I am currently in the top 5-10% of a class of about 150. I would say that I performed about as well as I expected, based on my LSAT score and the events that led to my low UGPA, but I may have surprised the admissions folks a little.
