I was more curious because I haven't heard anything from them since I sent in my deposit.....except for conformation that the deposit was recieved

Got an email today saying that I would be receiving my email address in the next couple of weeks!!!! Anyone else get that email.....can't wait to get to NOLA!!!

yea i got the email about our tulane email addresses. makes it more of a reality... but im still on the fence about TLS 2012. anyone else facing the "should I leave ny to go to tulane when I know I def want to come back to ny after graduation" dilemma?

I'm having that same dilemma, but regarding california. my other choice at this point (u wisc) doesnt seem to place much better there.

what about the cali schools? ive been accepted to 2 solid ny schools (brooklyn, cardozo) but they want me to pay sticker... so that kind of freaks me out.. and TLS is offering 25k a year...

i had bad luck with cali during my cycle the $$$ from tulane is very tempting for me as well, but the coa is high. at wisc it would be only slightly more expensive, even w/o $$. oh... decisions. if u do well at tulane, you should be set for ny tho? brook/dozo are both very very expensive, especially with total coa.

I had it down to UW and Tulane too and even though Wisco is in-state for me I am choosing Tulane. Wisconsin is a great school, but Madison is homogeneously liberal, and freezing cold. Tulane is also a top-quality school, and New Orleans is a world-class city. Unless you plan on practicing in the Chicagoland area, I highly recommend Tulane.

Like the dean said, a good amount of the 2012 class is on waitlists elsewhere, so I wouldn't be surprised if you hear people get a lot more vocal about Tulane once the second deposit passes and they know for sure it's where they'll be going.

Definitely getting that shirt, though I'm sure I'll feel self-conscious wearing it. Hombre, did you go to the mid/late April ASD? I feel like I might have talked to you. I'm basing this purely on your Howard vs Tulane talk though.

i'd say a lot of people have been on the fb group, but really, they join and don't say much after that either haha. im hoping this is due to most people trying to get through their last semester and finals. some schools are still in- glad thats not me!

I hate facebook. It's gotten me into way too much trouble in my undergrad. Is there anywhere the Class of 2012 is that ISN'T on there?

Actually, we're getting Tulane emails soon, aren't we?

When is that happening?

Tulane emails should be coming either this month or next according to the email they sent out...it said "in the next few weeks" though so whatever that means.

im sorry to bring the bad news but sounds like you probably have a fairly interesting story regarding the hate towards fb?

and yes. although, i got that email may 1st and by my estimates that would be prior to june. at least, that is what i am hoping for. plus i called once for a now irrelevant reason regarding this and i was told mid-late may! woo hoo!

Does anyone know why Tulane is not listed in the NALP directory of law schools?

I just have a general question for all of you that have decided on Tulane: What made you choose Tulane? I would really like to hear more about this school. By the way, despite what people say about the location having a lot of crime, I think Louisiana would be an awesome place to live for a few years.
