Dropping Out Before Any Tests

Post by IHC26 » Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:29 pm

Hey everyone I'm looking for some advice. If for a variety of personal reasons and everything about the school wasn't a fit for me, I dropped out in middle of my first semester and didn't receive any grades. I was wondering if I want to reapply next cycle will it greatly affect my application and as a result will schools not be interested in accepting me? TIA

It won't be as bad as finishing a semester, but you'll have to inform schools that you enrolled and subsequently dropped out.

But can you be more specific? Where are you enrolled, and what are you actually worried about? If you know you have something big happening next semester (e.g. an ill family member who needs you at home), then you can just defer going to school for a year.
