Can I apply elsewhere if I paid a seat deposit?

I paid my seat deposit at one law school. Another is still accepting applications. Can I now submit an application there? Would it make a difference to withdraw my intent to attend?

Depends on the school, but usually the seat deposit includes a statement that you will withdraw any open applications and not apply elsewhere. So you can usually stay on waitlists, but that's it.

I second cavalier's post above. In addition, I frankly don't think any school that would take a May applicant would be worth attending, especially because you'd almost certainly be paying sticker with such a late acceptance (even if you would've scored a substantial scholly with the exact same application if you'd sent it in earlier).
